Ever wonder what is the best way to learn to the skills of organic farming? Do an apprenticeship on an outstanding organic farm! Fisher Farm is currently looking for dedicated hardworking individuals for the upcoming growing season. Apprentices work alongside farmers everyday for a hands-on education in all aspects of our diversified family farm. Learn how we plant, weed, harvest and market our 4 acres of vegetables and cut flowers. Apprentices also learn to care for our laying hens and small flock of pasture raised broilers. We take great pride in training the next generation of organic farmers and believe that it is important for everybody to be educated in basic food production. We farm because we love the challenge and satisfaction of a hard day's work.
